Wherever you live and work as a Christian, cultural perceptions and practices associated with human identity will impact your Christian witness.
In this one week module, you will get the opportunity to explore the implications of gender issues on mission and ministry across the cultures, and develop your theological and biblical understanding of gender.
Whether you consider yourself a cross-cultural mission worker, or simply work alongside many different generations and cultures in the UK - gender is a subject that affects everything, and colours the worldviews of you and those around you. This module offers vital insight into the issues of humanness, identity and equality that are at the heart of mission and personhood.
As well as Redcliffe faculty, this module includes guest lectures by Dr Elaine Storkey, Director of Education for the CofE Church Army, Rev Dr Ian Paul, prolific writer and theologian; and Lucy Peppiatt, Principal of WTC.
