PhD, MBChB, DTM&H, DCH, BA(Hons) Theology
Colin is course leader for Redcliffe's MA in Contemporary Missiology. His area of interest is Muslim/Christian Relations, particularly looking at socio-cultural aspects, interfaith dialogue and mission. His PhD looks at the theology of the church that is growing in Muslim areas.
Originally from New Zealand, Colin trained as a medical doctor and spent 15 years in South Asia with Interserve. There he was involved in mission leadership both at the national and international level. He continued his theological study through that time, and so was working and writing in a context of poverty, corruption and vibrant life. God has used this to shape him and his thinking which he now brings back to a Western setting.
He and his family moved to the UK in 2008 and Colin is part of Interserve's cross-cultural work within England and Wales. In this, his role is to train, resource and equip people who want to engage cross-culturally.
As well as teaching at Redcliffe, Colin is able to help churches and other groups who want to engage in this way. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to email below.
