As part of our increasing activities in the area of vulnerable
children, Redcliffe has produced a free Bible Study and preaching resource
called, 'More than a Statistic: God's Heart for Displaced and Vulnerable
Children'.
It is written by Tim Davy, Research Fellow and Lecturer in
Biblical Studies and Mission. Tim also co-leads Redcliffe's MA module,
'Vulnerable Children: Bible, Theology and Society' with Principal Rosalee
Velloso Ewell.
The study is one of the outcomes of a research project Tim has
been leading, made possible by the generous support of the Gloucester Diocesan
LIFE Development Fund, under the title, 'Meeting the Needs of Unaccompanied
Asylum Seeking Children in Gloucestershire Enhancing the Response of the Local
Church'.
